Q: Why is the Hoarseman on WordPress.com, when most of ChaliceMedia’s WordPress blogs are free-standing on the Open Source software from WordPress.org?

A: Two answers.

1) Having Ron’s personal blog on WordPress.com allows him to have the same blogging experience as many colleagues and friends.

2) The iPad experience is currently more seamless on WordPress.com utilizing OnSwipe technology. However the OnSwipe plugin for the Open Source version of WordPress is still lacking in a number of areas.

A: Why, um, yes it is. It’s only Ron Chalice that is fake.
